In partnership with Indian Health Service, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to helping the Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health Programs, and Urban Indian Programs to maximize their ability to access third party resources. To meet this objective, CMS, in partnership with the States, the Veterans Administration, the Social Security Administration, and the IHS, provides training to patient benefits advocates on the programs and benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Travel Arrangements

All attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.

To make reservations, please call 206-859-4400 and reference the CMS/ITU room block to receive the federal per diem rate of $174 plus tax per night. Reservations should be made by Friday, February 15, 2019 to ensure the rate mentioned above. Reservations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square are on your own and subject to hotel availability and pricing.

Ground Transportation

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square , is located approximately 13 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). You have several options for ground transportation from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Parking

Self-parking: $43/day (no in/out privileges) – For the self-parking garage, continue on 2nd Avenue past King Street. The parking garage entrance is on your left.

Hotel Valet-parking: $50/day (with in/out privileges)

Taxis: The approximate taxi fare from SEA to the hotel is $33.00

Shuttle Service: Shuttle Express offers shuttle services from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to the hotel for approximately $35/per person.  Please call (425) 981-7000 or to schedule a ride.

Driving Directions from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport: From the Airport Expressway take WA 518 East towards I-5 North (Seattle). From I-5 North, take E Martinez Drive (Exit 164B). Continue on E Martinez Drive and turn right on 1st Avenue South. Turn right on South King Street. Hotel will be on the right.
