CMS ITU Training Event

In partnership with Indian Health Service, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to helping the Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health Programs, and Urban Indian Programs to maximize their ability to access third party resources. To meet this objective, CMS, in partnership with the States, the Veterans Administration, the Social Security Administration, and the IHS, provides training to patient benefits advocates on the programs and benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) San Francisco Office and the California Area Indian Health Service (IHS) invite you to the 2020 CMS Outreach & Education Event.

Travel Arrangements

All attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.

To make reservations, please call (916) 929-8855 and reference the CMS/ITU room block to receive the rate of $140 plus tax per night. Reservations should be made by Thursday, April 30, 2020 to ensure the rate mentioned above. Reservations at the DoubleTree Sacramento are on your own and subject to hotel availability and pricing.

Ground Transportation

DoubleTree Sacramento is located approximately 12 miles from the Sacramento International Airport (SMF).  You have several options for ground transportation from the airport to the hotel.

Parking: Hotel Daily Parking is complimentary.

Taxis: The approximate taxi fare from SMF to the hotel is $50.00

Shuttle Service: Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies. Public and Private Vans are on site to meet all scheduled flights and transport incoming passengers.  Super Shuttle is approximately $20 each way.

Driving Directions from Sacramento International Airport (SMF): I-5 South to Hwy 50 East. Follow Capitol City Freeway (Business 80). East towards Reno. Exit Arden Way east/right. The DoubleTree Sacramento is on the right.
