CMS ITU Training Event

Denver, CO | March 18-19, 2020

In partnership with Indian Health Service, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to helping the Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health Programs, and Urban Indian Programs to maximize their ability to access third party resources. To meet this objective, CMS, in partnership with the States, the Veterans Administration, the Social Security Administration, and the IHS, provides training to patient benefits advocates on the programs and benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Denver Office and the Indian Health Service (IHS) invite you to the 2020 CMS Outreach & Education Event.

Travel Arrangements

All attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. To make reservations, please call 303-696-6644 and reference the CMS/ITU room block to receive the rate of $162 plus tax per night. Reservations should be made by Thursday, February 20, 2020 to ensure the rate mentioned above. Reservations at the Embassy Suites Hilton Denver Tech Center North are on your own and subject to hotel availability and pricing.

Ground Transportation

Embassy Suites Hilton Denver Tech Center North is located approximately 10 miles from the Denver International Airport (DEN).  You have several options for ground transportation from the airport to the hotel.

Parking: Hotel Daily Parking is complimentary.

Taxis: The approximate taxi fare from DEN to the hotel is $80.00

Shuttle Service: Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies. Public and Private Vans are on site to meet all scheduled flights and transport incoming passengers.  Super Shuttle is approximately $21 each way.

Driving Directions from Denver International Airport (DEN): Take Pena Boulevard(airport road) south 10 miles to I-70 West to I-225 S, follow I-225 S to the Yosemite/Tamarac Streets exit (exit 2B), turn right on Yosemite St., go 1 mile north to Hampden Ave., turn left on Hampden Ave., go 1.5 miles to Roslyn Street, turn right on Roslyn Street. Hotel is on right across from Whole Foods Market and behind Chase Bank. *North on I-25 Exit Hampden Avenue (201), turn right, hotel is on left side, one mile. *South on I-25 Exit Hampden Avenue (201), turn left, hotel is on left side, one mile. *South on I-225 Exit I-25 North, see north on I-25. *East on I-70 from Mountains Exit I-25 South, see south on I-25.
